Vicki Condon  Director
BA (HR, Psych, Gender Politics) UNSW, PG Dip (Counselling) ACAP
 
 
Vicki is passionate about caring for our youth and helping them to learn healthy life skills. With a wide range of education, skills and experience working with young people, Vicki is committed to improving adolescent health and wellbeing in Australia.
 
Vicki holds a BA from UNSW majoring Human Resource Management and Gender Politics, specialising in educational psychology, and sexuality and power subjects.  After working in corporate Human Resource Management for ten years, Vicki started a family with her husband, Leon, and they have three children. She then completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling, specialising in adolescents, at the Australian College of Applied Psychology and has been working with teenagers ever since.
 
Vicki has spent the last six years counselling, mentoring and conducting a wide variety of training programs for youth through TAFE NSW, teaching in the Outreach Department. These programs include Mentoring in the Community (training and managing a group of volunteers to mentor at risk students in high schools) and Youth Connections (a program for teenagers who have become disengaged from school which teaches life skills, employment and education options).  She has also conducted training for the YWCA Big Brother Big Sister program, the Dalwood Spilstead Centre in Seaforth, the Women's Resource Centre in Dee Why, and the Red Cross Young Parents Program in Randwick.  Vicki also wrote a blog and did a series of videos for MTV Australia for the series "16 and Pregnant" about teenage sexuality and motherhood.
 
From 2004-2007 Vicki held the position of Program Director for the SISTER2sister Program. This is a twelve month mentoring program for teenage girls who need extra support, inspiration and opportunity in their lives, and is run by the Life Changing Experiences Foundation.  In this capacity, Vicki produced, compiled, conducted and evaluated the program, and was responsible for mentor recruitment and training, managing the team of psychologists and team leaders, mentee welfare, syllabus management, and conducting workshops, as well as overseeing the program evaluation.
 
Founding Young Love is part of Vicki's lifelong amibition to make a significant contribution to our community, and she hopes the Young Love Foundation will positively inspire many young people's lives.
 
 
 
Leanne Ralph  Director and Secretary
B Bus, AICD Associate
 
 
Leanne is a finance industry professional with over 20 years of commercial and accountancy experience and 12 years company secretarial experience.
 
Her career spans a range of roles in a variety of industries. Prior to her current role, Leanne worked in finance roles for Esso Australia and Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary for established international fashion brands including Salvatore Ferragamo, Celine and Fendi.
 
Leanne currently heads up the Corporate Governance division at PDY, a fully integrated financial advice centre headquartered in North Sydney. Over her career, Leanne has developed in-depth expertise in areas including management reporting, budget and cash flow analysis and corporate governance by fulfilling company secretarial responsibilities in both private and publicly listed entities.
 
She holds a Bachelor of Business, is an associate of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and an associate member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.  Leanne brings a great wealth of knowledge and expertise in the corporate governance area to the Young Love Foundation, and she is an integral member of our team.
 

 

Leon Condon  Director 
B Eng, AICD Fellow
 
 
Leon's passion is organisational development.  He is an experienced executive with a solid track record of business achievement in blue chip corporate and successful start ups.
 
With his interest in business improvement through strategy, people and process, Leon co-founded Rockridge Group in early 2006 which is a business investment company that focuses on creating value through a combination of capital injection, strategic initiatives and active participation in operational management.  He is Executive Director in a number of the investee companies.
 
Before starting Rockridge Group, Leon was the co-founder and Executive Director of the Advanced Group, a buyout of 4 strategically aligned businesses in the technical services industry focused on the property sector. Under Leon's guidance Advanced grew to be a business of over $100 million in revenues and 300 staff.
 
Prior, Leon was the co-founder and Managing Director of Redicall, a market leader in prepaid telecommunications products. He led the profitable growth from inception to sales in excess of $65 million, before selling the business to a company listed on the ASX, merging with another entity and growing annualised revenue to over $140m.
 
In the earlier part of his career spanning 10 years, Leon held a number of senior executive positions at Honeywell, and was recognised by the company and industry for outstanding business improvement achievements across 3 businesses.
 
Leon holds a Bachelor Degree in Engineering and is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.  He brings a wealth of business management and corporate expertise to the Young Love Foundation, and he is a key partner in the success of the organisation.

 

 

Andrew Birch  Director 
B Eng, MBA
 
 
Andrew Birch is an experienced business leader in the Australian and New Zealand business community. Andrew has held senior executive positions at Honeywell Pacific and Vodafone Australia and held Executive Director Positions on the board of each. During this period Andrew was also appointed as Non Executive Director on the Federal Government TIO Board and subsequently appointed as Chairman.
 
Andrew was co founder and Executive Director of Advanced Group, consolidating  4 companies within the technical property services sector. The business grew from conception to some $100 million turnover and 300 staff. Andrew more recently joined the executive team at MYOB as it was privatised.
Andrew is an active participant in the Australian Art scene and is the Public Officer and Director of ICAN, a not for profit artist space that provides opportunity for up and coming and established artists in NSW to exhibit work. He is a keen collector and has donated works to institutions including, MCA, Art Gallery of NSW, Macquarie University Art Gallery and the Art Gallery of Wollongong.
Andrew has a bachelor degree in Engineering, an MBA and has completed studies at the IMD school in Switzerland.  Andrew's business management and corporate expertise brings a great depth to our organisation and he plays a key role on our Board.
