Youth Mentoring Week, Celebration of Mentoring in Sydney - October 2009
In order to thank our wonderful mentors for their generous commitment and valuable dedication to mentoring young people in Sydney, we hosted a lovely morning tea at the beautiful Boronia House in Mosman. Our sincere thanks to Kathleen Vella for being our fabulous guest speaker, and to Jenny and Brendon Barry of Hotel Mosman and Boronia House for generously donating the venue and morning tea. We are very grateful to our sensational mentors - thank you all so very much.
Young Love Dance Party - August 09
Thank you to everyone who came to our 80s Dance Party. It was so much fun to do some daggy dancing and catch up with our fantastic friends, while raising money to take more mentors to our young people. Your support is sincerely appreciated. Pollie Pedal Afternoon Tea at Freshwater Campus
The Hon. Tony Abbott MP for the electorate of Warringah, chose Young Love as one of the benefactors of his annual Pollie Pedal initiative, and we are very grateful for his generous support, as well as support from major sponsor, Blackmore's. As a result of their generosity, and that of the local Warringah community, Tony and Blackmore's presented us with a $10,000 cheque for our School mentoring programs, which was overwhelming. Our sincere thanks go to everyone who donated as this now enables us to conduct our program at two more schools, reaching another possible 30 students. Our thanks also to all the local Principals and Welfare staff who attended the afternoon tea, and to the Northern Beaches Secondary College for hosting the event.

Joe Hockey Morning Tea - 23 April 2009
The Hon. Joe Hockey MP hosted a morning tea for Young Love inviting guests from schools, hospitals and corporate organisations in his North Sydney electorate. Our Ambassador, Mark Beretta, was our fabulous MC at the Cammeray Golf Club, and the event was a wonderful success. We are very grateful to Joe for his support and encouragement, and look forward to working with partners from North Sydney.

Young Love Dance Party - February 09
What a great night! Our sincere thanks to everyone for coming to the pub for a chat and a dance in support of Young Love. Together we raised enough money to fund the direct costs of our mentoring program into one of the four programs we are targetting this year. We are thrilled, and very touched by all the 120 people who came out and had so much fun with us.
